LILAH BENETTI (they/them) is an artist working at the intersection of cinema and contemporary art. Their films, installations, and living archives unravel memory, dislocation, and speculative futures through non-linear storytelling. Merging analogue image-making, experimental sound, and site-responsive forms, Benetti’s work traces the residues of cultural memory and resistance. Often unfolding in public or unconventional spaces, their practice disrupts dominant narratives—asking who is seen, who is heard, and who is remembered. Lilah is currently based on Wurundjeri Country.
